The pope john paul II released yesterday the book "memory and identity" in various countries, including Brazil. The pope talks about contemporary social issues, polemicals and ideologicals, following to his catholic point of view. The pope talks about abortion, democracy, homosexuality and about the murdering attempt that he went through in early may 13, 1981 when the turkish Mehmet Ali Agca shoot at a distance between two or four meters. The pope also uses terms like "ideologies of evil" when he refers to some of these subjects. Talking about the murdering attempt the pope declares "I think that (the attempt) had been one of the last convulsions of the ideologies outrageous commenced in the XX century", the pope also believes that he was saved by the divine grace, "all of that was the testimonial of the divine grace (...) Agca knew to shoot well and shoot to murder me certainly, but it was like someone had led and diverted that bullet...". The pope also refers to the homosexual marriage as "ideologies of evil, maybe more crafty and covert". He also shows strongly his catholic ideologies when he declares "When a congress authorizes the interruption of a pregnancy it commits a serious outrageous against a innocent human being (...). The congresses that approves and promulgates similar laws shall be aware that they had surpassed their own competencies. setting themselves in confict with God's laws and natural's law". Certainly keen catholics all around the world will love the book which keeps a conservative character, radical to our contemporary social reality in certain points. The science and the evolution of human species are indubitable dichotomies intrinsics and essentials, thus also the church has developed criticizing and creating new concepts. Along the centuries, it's difficult to distinguish which ideologies provoked more nefarious damages to society, the abusive power of democracy (governmental supremacy) or the religious power (catholic supremacy). Both worked with the same purpose using different euphemistic terms, the church talked a lot about evangelising, catholicising the pagan people and the government on the other hand used the term socialization, democracy and like the americans are conditioned to say "the freedom", all of it is a synonymous of bloody colonization, abrupt culture decay and the sad destruction of a nations identity.
